How We Started

FennIQ.ai didn't come out of a boardroom. It came from the reality of trying to find good work in a tough industry.

Mike started his career in construction and spent years in architectural sales. Later, he led marketing and lead generation for sales teams selling locally and nationwide. Like many, he poured money into pay-per-click ads, trade shows, directories, and subscription platforms that promised results. At one point he was spending nearly four hundred thousand dollars a year just trying to get leads to find him instead of finding the right projects early enough to make a difference.

So he built what he wished he had. Nights, weekends, every spare moment went into figuring out a better way to scout early signs and stop chasing stale data. The first versions were messy, full of duplicates and dead ends, but hidden in that chaos was a glimpse of what sales teams dream of.

That's when he called Dan.

Dan had been closing deals for decades. He set records at multiple brokerages and built and sold companies from the ground up. He has the instinct to hunt for opportunities and the strategy to turn them into results. When he saw Mike’s prototype, he knew exactly what it could become. Mike could build it. Dan could get it to the teams that needed it most. Both knew good companies were losing because they found out too late.

They went all in and rebuilt FennIQ to do what stale plan rooms and overpriced directories never could. Like the namesake fox, FennIQ listens for easy to miss early signals and hunts down projects, quickly and intelligently.
